The Original Map.
To the right is the original 1947 UN Partition map. What an abomination! What a cruel vicious joke. I personally think they did it this way because they knew it would not, could not, ever work. Whole communities cut off from one another is nothing less that a recipe for strife, contention and ultimate disaster. Which is todays reality. This hodgepodge of so called independent states evolved into only one independent state and "occupied territories". This original partition did not work. But, when you look at the 1947 map the percentage was about 50/50. If the Jewish people were happy with the 50/50 in 1947 why would they not be happy with the same today if, along with it , they would gain peace and security?
